My wife and I have become interested in keeping bees after a visit to friends in France, we are both complete novices and just starting out.

We have decided this is best time for us to start so we can organize ourselves slowly into starting of this wonderful venture and hobby.
I will be keeping the hive at the bottom of our back garden, were I am preparing the area in readiness to place the hive.

Fondant Check
Checked my 3 hives today for fondant use.
Le-Pige not used any
Le-Chai taken the lot , replaced with new .
Monsieur Antoine not used any
The hive Le-chai taken fondant is i think the weakest hive so hopefully it will go through the winter.
