My wife and I have become interested in keeping bees after a visit to friends in France, we are both complete novices and just starting out.

We have decided this is best time for us to start so we can organize ourselves slowly into starting of this wonderful venture and hobby.
I will be keeping the hive at the bottom of our back garden, were I am preparing the area in readiness to place the hive.

Queen
Checked the hive down my new place, working well and even better after the bad weather we been having, any way this is my new queen she is doing well, and such a pretty queen.
The other picture is one of the bees coming back from foraging.
